We recommend you to use Cheat engine if you are new to game hacking. I will give you a tutorial about how to use cheat engine.Step 1. First launch/open your cheat engine tool.
Step 2. Open the game that you want to hack/cheat. I am going to hack the "Virtual Villagers" game.
Step 3. Now open the cheat engine and click on the computer icon on the top of the left side of the screen on the engine.
Step 4. Now select the name of the process that is the game you want to hack. You may see the name of your game in the applications tab, processes tab or in windows tab. I recommend you to use the applications tab. After that click on open.
Step 5. Now see the stat that you want to change it can be your health in numbers, coins, gold, etc. In my game I am going to change the value of food.
Step 6. Note the stat that you are interested in. Input the value in the value section and click "New Scan".
Step 7. You may see too many stats on the left-hand side of the engine screen. To minimize the number of stats to one or two, repeat the process by changing the stat of the game either increasing or decreasing it by some value. In my game first the value was 211 but now it has been changed to 259.
Step 8. Now again input that value in the Value tab and then click on "Next scan". Remember you should not click on the "new scan" for the next value.
Step 9. If you have got one or two values, select the one or two by Ctrl+A and then click on the red arrow on the bottom as shown in the image. In this case, I have got one value.
Step 10. Double click on the value that you have chosen to change. Now change the value accordingly you want. I recommend you to change it in up to 9 digits. If you don't want that your value changes then click on the cross below the active section of the value as shown in the image.
Step 11. You can see that your value has been changed. Accordingly, you wanted.
